Shy Ronnie and The Stylees @ The Well, Brooklyn, NY – 9.8.17
September 9, 2017 | Concert Photography
Shy Ronnie and The Stylees opened up Pilfers 20th anniversary show at the Well in Brooklyn, NY on September 8th. It was the band’s debut live appearance and features members of Metro Stylee.
Metro Stylee have been long time friends and show mates with Pilfers so it was fitting they played with Pilfers for their 20th anniversary. Their sound is more rocksteady than ska but they did play couple of Metro Stylee songs. I liked what I heard so looking forward to seeing them again in the future.
I was nervous before the show, since it didn’t look like any lighting was setup. Thankfully there was some lighting on the side that light up the stage very well. Actually I was impressed with how well the lighting was bright enough. I mainly used the 24-70mm f2.8 lens for this set and shot around 1/250th with an ISO of 1600-3200.
