Johnny Too Bad and the Strikeouts @ Cake Shop, NYC – 5.31.14
June 8, 2014 | Concert Photography
Johnny Too Bad and The Strikeouts returned after not playing for 17 years! I never took photos of the band but saw them once or twice before. They played a great set and I hope they decide to play again. Check out my full review of the show here.
Just like the rest of the show, I stood in the same spot and used my flash for most of the set. I decided to film a song of the band with my camera as well, because it’s also nice to have some video for these shows besides looking at still photographs all the time. I’d do this more often but I think most clubs would get pissy about it. The only tough thing about shooting JTB was there were so many members in the band, it was hard getting every band member in a shot or trying to get individual shots.
