I Voted For Kodos @ Cake Shop, NYC – 5.31.14

I Voted For Kodos returned after taking a few years off. I never saw them before, at least I don’t think I have. their set was just like High School Football Heroes, in that everybody was coming up to sing along and went nutty for them. Read my review at ReadJunk.com.

Same as the other sets, I shot this with a speedlight since it was a bit dark at the Cake Shop. I also shot video for a song as well. I stood in the same spot so had to pick my spots to get shots of the other members from the other side of the stage. It’s tough trying to photograph ska bands that way because there’s so many mic stands and other members in the way. But I got some decent shots of the band.
