Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls @ Terminal 5, NYC – 11.27.13
December 1, 2013 | Concert Photography
Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls always puts on an excellent show. Wednesday night’s show at Terminal 5 was no different! If you want to read about the entire show, check out ReadJunk.com where I wrote a longer review.
I love photographing Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls. This was my 3rd time I believe and probably got my best set of the band so far. Frank wasn’t with his guitar this time so it was a bit different than the previous sets. The first two songs, the lighting was great. Nice and bright in the front and some colorful back lighting. The front lighting went away for the third song it seemed, and it was nothing but back lighting. I wasn’t happy with that but was still happy with the overall set. I got a few jump shots of Frank, as did my fellow photographers who were there sharing the pit with me that night.
