The Smith Street Band @ Terminal 5, NYC – 11.27.13
December 1, 2013 | Concert Photography
The Smith Street Band from Australia played before Frank Turner Wednesday night at Terminal 5. The band was full of energy and made for some great shots!
I reviewed the show over at ReadJunk.com so check that out if you want to know more about the show itself.
The band was fun to shoot, particularly the singer/guitarist of Smith Street Band. He had a lot of great facial expressions. The lighting was better for their set too. For Koo Koo Kanga Roo’s set, I used just the 24-70mm lens but this one I broke out the 70-200 lens as well. The stage at Terminal 5 is deceiving because it’s not too high but if the bands are in the middle of the stage, you need that extra focal length.
