The Implants @ Irving Plaza, NYC – 11.30.13
December 2, 2013 | Concert Photography
The Implants opened up the NOFX show at Irving Plaza in NYC on November 30th. I didn’t know what to expect from them but they were a lot of fun to photograph!
I did a review over at ReadJunk.com, check it out for a longer review.
The Implants were fun to photograph because they love rocking those guitar poses. They did a lot of jump shots but I missed them. I think if I knew their music better, I would have known when the jumping might have been. It’s always good to know the music before hand for things like that.
The lighting for their set was decent and at least usable. I liked the lighting in the 3rd song which consisted of yellow and some reds and greens. It worked out well because I can change the way it looks and change the colors around. Sometimes you can do that, other times it doesn’t work.
