Canada Day @ Central Park Summer Stage, NYC – 6.29.13
July 2, 2013 | Concert Photography
I shot Canada Day Saturday at Central Park in NYC. It was a lot of fun and took some random atmosphere shots along with Spirit of the West and Joel Plaskett Emergency.
Read my review of the concert at ReadJunk.com.
Before the bands came on, they did the Canadian national anthem with Mounties and then had First Nation come out and do some Native American dances. I love photographing Native Americans, especially if they have the colorful dresses on too.
Later on, I was trying to capture kids going crazy for SOTW for “Home For A Rest.” During that time, the sun was setting so was trying my best to get some decent sunset pictures. Plus, I couldn’t resist taking a few cute pictures with babies with headphones. Aww little Canucks.
