The Suicide Machines @ Apple Stomp: Day 1, Irving Plaza, NYC – 5.31.13
June 6, 2013 | Concert Photography
The Suicide Machines were the headliner for Day 1 of Apple Stomp and just a lot of fun to watch if you like their stuff.
For more extensive review of the Apple Stomp, read my reviews of Day 1 and Day 2.
I was originally supposed to take pictures of The Suicide Machines a few years ago when they opened for The Descendents at Roseland, but the stupid person I dealt with at LN didn’t put me on the list so I was shit out of luck. So this is really the first time I photographed the Suicide Machines even though I’ve seen them a few times.
Jay was moving around so quickly, it was a challenge to get a photo of him in focus. The lighting was great for their set and helped out when Jay was singing close to the crowd. I mainly focused on Jay since he’s an original member, a singer, and the most active out of the group.
