Thirteen Towers @ Bowery Electric, NYC – 11.17.18

Thirteen Towers from DC were a fun band to photograph! They opened the Mustard Plug show at Bowery Electric on November 17th, 2018 and you can read my full review of the show at ReadJunk.com.

Bowery Electric is a small club so only have so many choices to shoot from. The balcony by the bar and merch, or up front or sides. I chose the front for the majority of the show. The lighting was decent there, bright blues and some reds. It was a nice mix and wasn’t too dark. The band itself were a lot of fun to shoot and very lively.

For this set, I mainly used the 14-24mm f2.8 and 24-70m f2.8 lenses since the band was up close. I didn’t even bother bringing my telephoto for this show because I knew how it was going to be.
