Caligula Blushed @ Milton Theatre Zombie Fest 2023 – 10.21.23

Caligula Blushed | Tribute to the Smiths & Morrissey played Milton Theatre Zombie Fest on October 21st 2023.

I’m a big fan of the Smiths and Morrisey’s music so I wanted to check out the band on Saturday night. It was a chilly evening outside but the band made the best of it despite some technical difficulties and having to contend with the zombie walk happening at the same time as their set. The loyal Smiths fans stuck around to sing along and enjoy Quinn and the band go through a Smiths and Morrissey set filled with some classics and deep cuts. Quinn has the vocals, the look and mannerisms down pat so while some of my friends were seeing Moz in NYC, I was seeing the second Morrissey. “There’s only 2 Morrisseys.”

I loved hearing “Frankly, Mr Shankly,” “Cemetery Gates,” “This Charming Man,” “Headmaster Ritual,” “Everyday Is Like Sunday” and “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out.” A fun time and great band if you love The Smiths and Morrissey!
