The Dirty Grass Players @ Rocking The Docks, Lewes, DE – 08.09.23

The Dirty Grass Players played Rocking the Docks in Lewes, Delaware on August 9th 2023.

It was a different vibe than the previous Amish Outlaws show. There was only a smaller “sunset “stage and everyone chilled under the usual VIP tent. So everyone was a VIP that evening. I actually liked the smaller, intimate show and the way the setup was. It made for some cool photos with the sunset and the bay in the background. Of course it would be better if everyone wasn’t sitting down and standing up near the stage. I’m hoping more shows are like that next year, and I wouldn’t mind some smaller type of shows like this as well. It was fitting for the bluegrass and country/folk style.

Dirty Grass Players were really good and I haven’t seen too many bluegrass type of bands. I filmed some video for this one as well, but that hasn’t been posted yet. It was actually fun doing video and editing again, but the last time I did something like that, filming vertical or cropping for a Reel wasn’t really a thing.

After the band’s set, they wanted a photo together in front of the sunset so I was happy to do that for them.
