Amish Outlaws @ Rocking The Docks, Lewes, DE – 08.02.23

The cover act Amish Outlaws sold out Rocking the Docks in Lewes, Delaware on August 2nd 2023. There was no openers since Amish Outlaws did 2 sets.

I never saw Amish Outlaws before but they were a lot of fun to take pictures of. They were busting chops with me earlier on to get photos from certain angles. By the end of the night, they were bringing me out on center stage to get some photos. I like to hide a bit if I’m going on stage and try not to get in the audience’s way. It was a fun, awkward moment.

The group was great for photographs though, posing with rock star poses or making faces. The audience was up and dancing, which certainly makes for better atmosphere photographs. I was trying to capture the sunset with the band but there really wasn’t much of one. A bit hazy that evening. I had to get a photo of all the boats parking near the docks to listen to the show for free. I noticed that happen a few times through the summer but this had the most boats.

I didn’t know what to expect with this show but had a blast shooting this one.
