Middle Aged Dad Jam Band @ Dogfish Head Brewings and Eats, Rehoboth, Beach, DE- 07.19.23

For my 45th birthday, I went out to see the Middle Aged Dad Jam Band featuring David Wain, Ken Marino and others at Dogfish Head Brewings and Eats in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware on July 19th 2023.

I already wrote up a review on ReadJunk.com but this was a fun show, and was cool to meet David and Ken afterwards. I met David before as well since I gave him a BK sticker to put on his drum kits. I also met someone from CT who writes for TV Line and knows Asbestos Records Matt Flood. Small world!

It was fun to see Sam Calagione, founder of Dogfish Head come up and sing a song with the band as Gerry Rafferty. It was the most packed I’ve seen Dogfish Head to date, and not sure they can exceed what they had since there’s only a limit of 250 people for the restaurant. Kind of silly since you can easily fit more people in there since most people were standing that night.

I wish all shows were like this for Dogfish Head since I’m not in people’s way when trying to take pictures. Everyone is standing up, having fun and singing along.
