New York Comic Con 2017: Friday – 10.6.17

Friday October 6th was my first full day of New York Comic Con at the Javits Center. You can read my recap at ReadJunk.com.

This day was more of the same as Thursday. Mainly just walked around the floor with my wife Kristen. I couldn’t bring my camera into the Star Wars experience thing which was silly since we could use our phones for pics and video. I did some Instagram stories of it, but forgot to save those videos. Oh well, nothing special with them.

It was pretty manageable to walk around on the floor and take pictures there for most of the day. I couldn’t really just camp out by the entrances way all day with my wife with me so I tried my best to get pictures of cosplayers around the floor and when I found something cool in passing. Like the other days, I used my 24-70mm f2.8 lens for the day, shooting around 1/200th-1/250th and ISO 1600-3200. I probably should have shot f4 or higher for some shots, especially when there was more people in the shots but I didn’t really overthink things. Just ask if I could shoot a photo, take it and move on.
