Baby Baby @ Gramercy Theatre, NYC – 3.4.17
March 6, 2017 | Concert Photography
Baby Baby from Atlanta, Georgia opened up the Save Ferris show at Gramercy Theatre in NYC on March 4th, 2017. They weren’t a ska band on a ska show but man were they a fun band to see live and shoot. Read the full review at ReadJunk.com!
The lighting for the first three songs kind of sucked so I had to make due with what I was given. I was shooting around 1/250 and at ISO 4000 most of the night. I switched off between 24-70 and 14-24 lenses for this set. I’m happy I used the 14-24mm f2.8 lens when I did because the singer/guitarist decided to stretch out on stage and rock out right in front of me. Made for some of the best photos from their set.
I wish I had more time to shoot them because they only got crazier and more lively as the set went on. If the lighting was better, I probably would have given better shots of the headbanging bassist – who was mere inches away from falling off the stage.
