Ballyhoo! @ Best Buy Theater, NYC – 6.16.15

Ballyhoo! opened up the the Less than Jake / Reel Big Fish show on June 16th at Best Buy Theater. The same bands will be playing there again on Monday the 22nd. You can read the full review over at ReadJunk.com.

The lighting for the Ballyhoo! set was darker than the other sets, which usually happens for opening acts. It’s kind of annoying sometimes when that happens but whatever, I made it work. It was tough to get shots of Scott, who plays the keyboards and scratches and all that. For most part, I shot this on ISO 3200-4000 with few lenses: 24-70mm f2.8, 70-200mm f2.8 and 14-24mm f2.8.
