Easy Star All-Stars @ Brooklyn Bowl, Brooklyn, NY – 5.2.15

After filming a quick session with the Skints after their set, I made my way through the sold out crowd to get up front to take pictures of Easy Star All-Stars.

Thankfully the crowd was friendly and I didn’t piss off anybody with me trying to work my way up front. I don’t really like shows with no photo pit but the bonus of it is not having any song limit on the set. There’s so many people on stage for Easy Star All-Stars, it was hard to get everybody in the same shot. Especially since I left my super-wide angle lens at home. But I made due with what I have and got some great individual shots of the band.

Like the other sets, the lighting was excellent at Brooklyn Bowl. Reggae shows tend to have good lighting. I was afraid I was going to miss Easy Star All-Star’s set when filming the session with The Skints, but glad I made it out in time to shoot the majority of their set.
