Young Dubliners @ Knitting Factory, Brooklyn, NY – 9.10.14
September 13, 2014 | Concert Photography
My buddies The Young Dubliners returned to the NY area and I had to see them again since I missed them last year. They put on such a great show and I love photographing them. You can read my review of the show over at ReadJunk.com, where I go more in depth with what songs they played.
Like I said in the previous post, the lighting for headliners at Knitting Factory is weird. It should be brighter for headliners yet the two times I’ve been there, it has been darker. I still got some decent photos of the guys though. I used the 24-70mm f2.8 for the majority of the set but broke out the 85mm f1.8 lens for a few shots as well. That’s a really great lens and I should use that one more often, especially when the lighting is dark.
If you’ve never seen Young Dubliners live, get your ass to a show!
