The Menzingers @ Riot Fest 2012, Williamsburg Park NY – 9.8.12
September 11, 2012 | Concert Photography
The Menzingers were second on the bill at Riot Fest Brooklyn, before the mighty rain came and canceled the rest of the fest. For a more detailed review of Riot Fest Brooklyn, read it at ReadJunk.com.
I’ve photographed The Menzingers twice so far, and they haven’t really changed much since then in terms of how their stage presence is. They kind of do their thing, move around a little and then head back to the mic. Not too many jump shots or anything, at least I didn’t see much in this set or captured it. This set I really fixed the “normal” color for a lot of the shots because I just felt it was too boring and bland. It was sunny in one section, cloudy in another and day shots usually seem bland to me. So, I spiced it up a little bit. I try not to go overboard with it though, because the photos should speak for themselves.
For this set, I stuck with the 24-70mm f2.8 for the most part. I don’t think I used the 70-200mm f2.8 at all. Yup, that’s about it for this set. Enjoy the photos!
