The Hives @ Oceans Calling Festival, Ocean City, MD – 9.28.24

The Hives performed Oceans Calling Festival Day 2 in Ocean City, MD on September 28th 2024. You can read my review over at ReadJunk.com.

I knew the Hives were a fun band to take pictures of based on what other photographers I know have done. Now I got to experience it. Frontman Per “Pelle” Almqvist was all over the stage, swinging his mic, climbing speakers, and kicking the bouncers’ water bottles out of the way. It was hard to keep track of him when he went into the crowd but did my best. Another set where I needed two camera bodies handy.
