Phillip Phillips was a great performer with some catchy songs. It makes things easier when artists have good stage presence. I remember it started to drizzle a little bit during this set which was a sign of things to come. Photographers were getting on the rain gear, and giving away “camera condoms” for people that didn’t have any. I had a plastic baggie which has worked in Europe in the past but another photographer gave me which would come in handy later on. Even though can’t stand them.
