Ultimate Diamond (Sol Knopf, Mike Fletcher, Dave Simmons, Billy Neill, and Edgar Fernandez) performed at The Room At Cedar Grove in Lewes, DE on January 27th 2024. It was a benefit concert for Sol Knopf’s daughter in law, who’s in the hardcore band Year of the Knife who had a terrible van accident last year.
The show was a fun one, with people dancing and singing along to all the Neil Diamond hits. Sol does a great job singing Neil Diamond tunes, and the rest of the band were really too too. I’m not usually one for tribute bands but this one was excellent. I made a recap video using my camera and the iPhone 15 Pro Max:
