Bad River @ The Room At Cedar Grove, Lewes, DE – 12.31.23

I can’t remember if I ever shot a show on New Years Eve before but I did this night! Bad River was playing at The Room at Cedar Grove in Lewes, Delaware and Paul Cullen invited me out to take pictures of the end of the year event.

The show was on NYE but it ended way before the ball dropped which is fine in my book. I still had time to see Anderson and Andy drunkenly giggling their way through their live broadcast. Bad River features Tony Sciuto who played with Little River Band, Robbie LaBlanc(Find Me, Blanc Faces, East Temple Avenue, Cannonballz, Alan Friedman), Paul Cullen (formerly of Bad Company) and Alex Fitzkee (the Fitzkee Brothers) on drums and it was a blast to hear a variety of songs. The show started off with Tony and Robbie playing Beatles songs and then Paul and Alex joined the guys on stage.

I took pictures of the events, ate some awesome food and got some cool photos of the band. It’s tricky to shoot here but just have to be patient with your opportunities and be aware if you’re in people’s way or not. There was a little spot on the side by a table I got a few shots, which turned out to be my favorite photos of the evening since Paul was pointing his bass at me.
