The Heavy Heavy @ Rocking The Docks, Lewes, DE – 07.05.23

The Heavy Heavy performed Rocking the Docks in Lewes, Delaware the day after 4th of July on July 5th and it was an awesome concert of course!

I saw the band back in April at Dogfish Head and was blown away by their performance. I couldn’t wait to see the band play again, I had to bring my family along this time. It was a hot day but that didn’t stop the band from giving it their all.

Like all the shots I try to get a bunch of different angles of the bands. Sometimes it’s difficult to shoot at concerts where people are sitting down because you can be in the way. I take some pictures either sitting down or take a shot, move on. As the sun went down, it was better for photography I think. Got a nice sunset this night as well.

Lenses used for this were the Nikon 24-70mm, 70-200mm, and 14-24mm – my go-to lenses for all concerts these days.
