Joe Samba @ Rocking The Docks, Lewes, DE – 6.28.23

Joe Samba performed at the Rocking the Docks series in Lewes, Delaware on June 28th, 2023.

This show was different than the one inside at Coastal Taproom. More room to move around but still have to mindful of the audience. So I was ducking down and sitting down when shooting sometimes. I used all three of my go-to concert lenses: 24-70, 70-200, 14-24 with the first two getting the most use.

It’s nice having the boats, the bay and the sunset for a show which doesn’t always happen. The smell of the bay is particularly nice. The VIP tent area experience curated by Dewey Beach Picnic Co. is just awesome! It’s a fun and relaxed experience to see some great musicians perform and Joe Samba was cool to see. I wish I knew I could go on stage or else I would have gotten some shots up there.
