Neon Union @ Bettie James Festival, Milton, DE – 08.13.22

Neon Union played the Bettie James Festival in Milton, Delaware on August 13th, 2022. You can read my full review at ReadJunk.com.

I never heard of Neon Union until they were announced for the festival. I looked up their single “Beer Up” and really liked it. Like the other sets, had 3 songs to shoot and the sun was setting a little bit so their set had a little bit more orange to the look of the photos.

I mainly used the 24-70 and 70-200 lenses but did take the 14-24mm lens out at the end. I was hoping the guys would walk out to the t-shape part of the stage but they mainly stayed to the main part of the stage. Of course they did that later on when they joined Jimmie Allen on stage, but I wasn’t allowed to photograph then.

Thanks to Neon Union’s manager and Jimmie Allen’s manager for getting me a passes for the rest of the bands!
