The Pandemics @ Knitting Factory, Brooklyn, NY – 12.30.16

I’ve shot the Pandemics a few times already and they are always fun to shoot. They do these choreographed moves when they are playing their instruments, like they are Chicago or something. It’s fun to see and photograph. I shot up front for a song or two, then went into the back of the room. Shot some stuff back from there.

The lighting was similar to The Rudie Crew’s set, the blue/red/ white front lighting. Red lighting is fine, but as long as it’s mixed with white lighting. I mainly shot with my 24-70mm f2.8 lens, but also used my telephoto 70-200mm f2.8 lens and the super wide angle 14-24mm f2.8 lens for some songs as well.
