Cock Sparrer @ Punk Rock Bowling, Stone Pony Summerstage, Asbury Park, NJ – 6.12.16

Cock Sparrer finished up Punk Rock Bowling Day 2 in Asbury Park, NJ. My full review of the Day can be found here.

As I’ve said in the previous posts, I came down with a stomach bug. I threw up, was fine for Flag and then started getting sick again for Cock Sparrer. I just wanted to take photos for 3 songs and get home, where my wife and kid now had the same stomach bug. It got so cold out, that it was pretty unbearable for me to be there. Finally Cock Sparrer came on stage and did my thing and don’t remember a damn thing from it. I then quickly got out of there. It was a total bummer having to miss Cock Sparrer’s set since I’ve been wanting to see them perform for almost 20 years. Maybe next time?

Afterwards I drove up the Garden State Parkway to Jersey City feeling sick. Pulled over on the shoulder and threw up a bunch. What a way to end Punk Rock Bowling.
