The Sunnyside Social Club @ Knitting Factory, Brooklyn, NY – 11.13.15

The Sunnyside Social Club opened up the Mustard Plug show at Knitting Factory in Brooklyn on November 13th. You can read my review of the show here.

I haven’t shot a show since August, before my son Connor was born. I figured this Mustard Plug show would be a good one to see and shoot since majority of the bands on the bill I know and like. The Sunnyside Social Club were up first and a lot of fun to shoot. They were active on stage, using megaphones, standing on their basses and going into the crowd.

Knitting Factory lighting was great this show. It was the best during Rude Boy George’s set but happy for whoever was working the lights to put them up when the singer would go up front where the back lighting wasn’t focusing on him. I was using the 24-70mm f2.8 lens for the most part. I did take a few photos with the 14-24mm f2.8 lens and 85mm 1.8 lens as well.
