The Suicide Machines @ Gramercy Theatre, NYC – 4.10.15

The Suicide Machines are a lot of fun to photograph, especially when Vinny Nobile (Pilfers, Bim Skala Bim) decides to join the band for the entire set!

The lighting was excellent, probably the best it’s been at Gramercy Theatre for Suicide Machines’ set. It was bright and it was perfect because Jay goes up to the crowd a lot. If it was dark, the photos wouldn’t have come in as sharp and in focus.

Having both Jay and Vinny performing together was great from a photography aspect as well. Vinny does his jumping around and playing the t-bone and Jay is running all over the place. Definitely had the most fun this year so far shooting this set. Plus the songs were going so fast no one kicked us out of the photo pit until the 4th song. I’m pretty sure it was 4th song unless I just wasn’t paying attention.
