Pilfers (Set 2) @ The Wick, Brooklyn, NY – 3.14.15

Pilfers could be one of the bands I’ve photographed the most in my 19 years of going to shows. Everytime I shoot one of their shows, there’s something new. They have a trumpet player now, so that’s new! The new album sounds great so be sure to pick up a copy here.

It was tough getting some shots that I wanted, especially when Coolie went into the crowd. For whatever reason, when I use the flash it doesn’t always focus on the person that I’m trying to capture. Probably because I’m just snapping away and hoping it turns out okay. But I got some decent shots. For the most part, I stuck with 24-70mm f2.8 lens but used the 14-24mm f2.8 lens as well. I brought 85mm f1.8 lens with me but I didn’t really use it all that much for this show.
