Fear Nuttin Band @ The Wick, Brooklyn, NY – 3.14.15
March 21, 2015 | Concert Photography
Fear Nuttin Band played after The Rudie Crew and they were a band I never shot before. I’m glad I got a chance to photograph them though because they were a blast to see! So energetic and bouncing all over the stages (and in the crowd). My full review is at ReadJunk.com if you want to read.
If I had to pick a favorite band to shoot that evening besides Pilfers, it was Fear Nuttin Band. I can’t wait to see them again just so I can photograph them more. So much fun and energy, and definitely not a boring band to see live. Each member was bouncing, head-banging, jumping all over the stage and that makes for some exciting photos.
I was using the 24-70mm f2.8 lens for the most part, but decided to break out the 14-24mm f2.8 lens for some of it as well. You can tell which photos were used by that lens, especially the one shot with one of the singer’s legs is up in the air and it’s all distorted. Some people hate the distortion but I like it in this case.
