The Scofflaws @ Otto’s Shrunken Head, NYC – 12.5.14
December 7, 2014 | Concert Photography
My second show of the evening was the Rude Boy George record release party. I’ve never been to Otto’s Shrunken Head before on the East Side but it felt like a small house party. Tiny room that was jam packed with people. It was fun!
The Scofflaws opened up the show first and played a fun set of some new tunes and some favorites (just minus William Shatner, the new guys need to learn it). I snapped away and was dancing around in front and it’s always a hoot shooting The Scofflaws because of Richard Brooks. Always making funny faces and throwing around his hands. Makes for some entertaining photos to say the least. I didn’t really move from my spot so didn’t get too many shots of the other members in the band. For this set and the entire show, I ended up using the 14-24mm f2.8 lens which I knew would come in handy because of the small room.
