The Ladrones @ Characters, NYC – 11.16.13
November 17, 2013 | Concert Photography
The Ladrones played 2nd during the Electric Avenue show and were a bit different than Rude Boy George and Chris Murray. They play fast ska-punk and many in attendance were there to see them it seemed.
The Latino fanbase has been regulars at the Electric Avenue shows, since the beginning really. It makes sense that a lot of them were there last night since The Ladrones played. Just like the other set, I started taking pictures with my flash, in the middle of the bar and then switched to the 85mm f1.8 lens. It’s funny, I haven’t used that lens in a long time since I have a 24-70, 70-200 lens but since my 70-200 was with my Twin Brother shooting the Argentina vs Ecuador game at NetLife stadium, I didn’t have it with me. So I brought that along just in case and ended up using it most of the night. I think i’ll use the 50mm f1.4 next show at Characters as well.
