Edinburgh, Scotland – Day 4 – 12.15.06
December 15, 2006 | Travel Photography
The last day in Scotland, we did a day trip to various locations around the Edinburgh area. We first went to Scott’s View, a beautiful and scenic spot, walked to a William Wallace statue that’s really impressive, then went to Melrose Abbey in the small town of Melrose, Scotland.
Our final stop was at Rosslyn Chapel, which you might have seen in the Da Vinci Code at the end. The chapel is having a major restoration project happening now so it’s all surrounded by scaffolding. They digitally removed it in the movie. That was a disappointing to see but hey, it will look great when it’s done.
