
Another year is quickly ending, and with that, my concert photography season has ended as well. I don’t have any scheduled shows happening right now until March but things could pop up. I usually like to take off these months just because I don’t want to worry about driving in the snow. This year was interesting in that I didn’t shoot as many shows as I would have liked, but the ones I did shoot were a lot of fun. You can read my Year in Review list over at ReadJunk.com if you have a few minutes. Like always, it’s tough to select 20 photographs that were your favorite/best photos of the year but I tried my best. Below is my top 20 best concert photos of 2009:

The Ska is Dead tour made it’s way to Sayreville, New Jersey Sunday afternoon. The show was held at Starland Ballroom, which I shot there once before in their parking lot for the Mighty Mighty Bosstones & Dropkick Murphys show. Hub City Stompers were the 3rd band on the bill.
