Bad Manners opened up for English Beat again and I was just stoked to see them again (both bands really). The last time I saw Bad Manners perform at Irving Plaza, it was just incredible. The same can be said again! Buster Bloodvessel is a photographer’s dream!

Chris Murray was opening act for the English Beat/Bad Manners show last Saturday at Webster Hall in NYC. I haven’t seen him since 1996 but glad I finally got the chance to see Chris play his catchy acoustic ska music!

I’ve been waiting a long time to see the (almost) original lineup of the Specials perform. I knew it was only a matter of time before the legendary ska band from the UK would play over in the States. I wasn’t happy that the show was at Terminal 5 because I think that venue is one of the worst venues I’ve ever been in. Bad location, awful sight lines, crappy sound and it just makes for a miserable concert experience. But I tried to deal with that stuff and just have fun. I was on assignment for Prefixmag.com, where you might have seen my photos already.

For Day 1 of the trip, click here. The second day of our Washington, DC trip tested our feet. DC has great transportation but you want to be able to walk around a lot as well. I’m not sure I did as much walking as I did in Dublin, Ireland last year but it’s definitely up there. Each night we had to just massage our feet and just stay off of them for the night. Soaking them in hot water also helped as well. But besides that, we managed to do a lot of stuff around the National Mall area.
