Gaelic Storm @ Watermark Bar, NYC - 6.26.14 - Photos by Bryan Kremkau (5)
I’ve been listening to Gaelic Storm for over 10 years but believe it or not, I never saw them perform live until this show. The co-headlining gig featured Gaelic Storm and Carbon Leaf at Watermark Bar, located on Pier 15 down at South Street Seaport in Manhattan. Couldn’t have asked for better views with settings like the Brooklyn Bridge and the East River. Read my review of the show at ReadJunk.com, otherwise see all the photos from the set below.

Ok, last post about the Asbestos Records NYC Ska Festival shows. The last band of the evening was the mystery band, “Mu330,” a.k.a. Dan Potthast with guys from Bomb the Music Industry and Slow Gherkin. An entertaining set to say the least! Read my review at ReadJunk.com for all the details.

Slow Gherkin @ The Rock Shop, Brooklyn, NY - 6.1.14 - Bryan Kremkau (1)
The last time I saw Slow Gherkin was in ’99 with The Toasters and Edna’s Goldfish. I did have a few black & white photos of the band (film!) but nothing is on this site. They played great and I had an awesome time shooting their set even though my camera & lens almost got cracked. My review is at ReadJunk.com, read it!

Jiker @ The Rock Shop, Brooklyn, NY - 6.1.14 - Bryan Kremkau (13)
Jiker reunited to play The Asbestos Records NYC Ska Festival at the Rock Shop in Brooklyn. Despite not being a fan of the band, they are fun to photograph. Just have to watch your surroundings so you don’t get clobbered or get beer spilled on you though. You can read my review of the show over at ReadJunk.com.
