Just like previous years, I travel up to St Johnsville, NY for some post-Thanksgiving fun at my grandparents’ old farm house (now my Uncles & Aunts getaway home). It was a bit snowier than previous years but was certainly was a pretty drive up there! My brother was driving up this time so I got to take some shots in the passenger side, which was certainly a nice change.

New England Aquarium @ Boston, MA – 6.2.12

I ventured to Boston on June 2nd to see the legendary film composer John Williams conduct the Boston Pops for a 3rd time. It was an amazing concert, and you can read my review here. To kill some time on that rainy, disgusting day. My wife, twin brother and his wife all went to the New England Aquarium. Unfortunately, everyone else had the same thing in mind.

Brooklyn Botanic Garden & Prospect Park Zoo @ Brooklyn, NY – 4.6.12

I took off on Good Friday to spend the day with Kristen. We decided to venture over to Brooklyn to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Prospect Park Zoo, which the area was just so “lovely.” It’s a nice feeling to get when you feel like you could get robbed or stabbed in any minute, even in the daytime haha. I think I’ll stick with Jersey City from now on. The garden and zoo were nice, it’s just getting there that’s a problem.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Shake Shack @ New York, NY – 3.24.12

To help celebrate my wife Kristen’s birthday, we wanted to visit The Met and other spots in the city. Besides visiting the Met, we indulged at the popular Shake Shack in Madison Square Park. The weather was supposed to be iffy but ended up being decent for most of the day. Wandering a great museum and finishing off the trip with burgers & shake? I’d say yesterday was a good day!
