The Pietasters @ Starland Ballroom, Sayreville, NJ – 11.23.18

It’s always fun shooting the Pietasters because they are such a great band to see live. Steve is always frantically pacing around the stage, never sitting still. So that part is a challenge but rather him do that than sitting still. I love when Steve goofs around singing near Dave as well, it makes for some excellent photos.

Like the rest of the set, I wish the red lighting wasn’t an issue and I didn’t have to turn them into black & white. I like doing some photos as b&w but not the majority of them because the lighting is icky. Still, managed to get some good photos of the band. After the 3rd song, I left the photo pit but then I realized the rest of the photographers never left. So I hurried back into the pit to shoot another song. I guess I should just stay into the pit until we’re told to get out.
