Emma Hern opened up for Carbon Leaf on November 2nd at Gramercy Theatre in NYC. You can read my review over at ReadJunk.com.
For this set, I used the 24-70mm f2.8 lens for the most part, but I did use my telephoto lens for closeups for half a song. The lighting for this set was excellent, and I shot mainly around ISO 3200. Emma Hern’s set was pretty straight forward. I liked how she was very expressive with singing and using her hands. I’d like to see her again with the full band next time.
