Central Park Zoo @ Central Park, NYC – 4.9.17

The last time I visited Central Park Zoo, it was April 9th 2011 and my wife and I weren’t even married yet. 6 years later to the day, we went back to the zoo but brought along our 18th month old son who has never been to the zoo. It was experience that’s for sure.

There wasn’t much shooting involved since we had to chase our kid around the zoo a lot. All he wanted to do was climb the benches and run around a lot. The photos are deceiving because he looks like he’s having a good time. He was pretty miserable, either because he didn’t like the animals or was just really tired. He did like looking at the mongoose and the seals for 2 seconds. But we had to make the best of it with the beautiful day we had today.

After that, we enjoyed some Mexican food and splurged on some Sprinkles cupcakes. No, we didn’t try the ATM machine since the line was shorter to just go in the store. Hopefully when he’s 2 or 3, Connor will appreciate the zoo more and we can take him to the Bronx Zoo.
