The Far East @ Terminal 5, NYC – 9.9.16
September 12, 2016 | Concert Photography
The Far East opened up for the Specials at Terminal 5 in NYC on September 9th. The sold out show was a blast and I got a chance to see & shoot The Far East for the first time. You can read about the show at ReadJunk.com. If you want to know about the photography side of things, read on.
It’s been awhile since shooting at Terminal 5. I don’t mind shooting there but the stage is a little high for me. Their lighting can be decent and it was for the most part for this show. The Far East were good but didn’t necessarily move around a lot. It wasn’t until after the third song or so when I wasn’t in the pit, that lead singer Maddie Ruthless was moving around and put the guitar down. Thankfully I had VIP pass and got to shoot some more from the second level. If you like Brooklyn rocksteady, you’ll enjoy The Far East!
