Letlive @ Central Park SummerStage, NYC – 7.28.15

I never saw or shot Letlive before but hopefully I’ll get more chances to photograph their set again! Definitely a photographer-friendly band, when you’re allowed to stay in the photo pit that is.

It was a hot one at Central Park Summerstage, especially for Letlive’s set. That didn’t stop Jason Butler from going crazy on stage, which made it fun to shoot their set. Unfortunately, the bouncers kicked us out one and half songs into the 3 songs we were originally supposed to shoot. Not sure why since there were no crowd surfers but could have been because Jason was heading into the crowd. Kind of stupid so it’s a good idea when you shoot a show like that, to just snap away because you never know when you’ll be kicked out.

With the time we had, I still managed to get some cool shots of Jason jumping, throwing water, throwing mic stands, singing on the stage floor, and other shots. I didn’t get anything that great from the other members but they didn’t exactly move around that much either. I don’t blame them, it was too damn hot out.
