Meredith Sheldon @ Gramercy Theatre, NYC – 11.12.14

Meredith Sheldon opened up for Johnny Marr at Gramercy Theatre the other day. You can read my review at ReadJunk.com if you’re up for it.

Meredith didn’t really move around all that much so I just shoot 2 songs of her set. I was the only photographer in the tinier photo pit at Gramercy. I was happy to there was even a photo pit since I heard Johnny Marr doesn’t like them, or at least when he was at Irving Plaza. I tried to get all the angles I could get with Meredith performing, using the 24-70mm f2.8 lens and my new baby, 14-24mm f2.8 lens. I’m loving that new lens by the way! The lighting was great at Gramercy, which it usually is. Nice and bright so no issues with that.
