Survay Says! @ Gramercy Theatre, NYC – 10.2.14

Survay Says opened up the MxPx show at Gramercy Theatre on October 2nd, 2014. This was the 3rd time seeing Survay Says this year and they are quickly becoming my favorite band to shoot! So many jump shots!

Since I’ve seen them a few times, I knew when the jump shots were. That’s always helpful when shooting bands, knowing when they might do certain things. Gramercy Theatre had good lighting for the entire show. For this set, they didn’t change the color of lighting. That’s kind of rare when that happens.

For this set and the whole show really, I shot with the 24-70mm f2.8 lens and with an ISO of around 3200. I really can’t complain about the lighting or these photos. I got a lot of cool shots of the band! Be sure to read my entire concert review of the show at ReadJunk.com.
