The Fad @ Knitting Factory, Brooklyn, NY – 5.17.14
May 21, 2014 | Concert Photography
The Fad opened up for Mustard Plug at the Knitting Factory last Saturday night in Brooklyn, NY. I rarely head into Brooklyn but when the lineup is this good and on a Saturday, I couldn’t turn this down. Read my review over at ReadJunk.com for more details.
I shot The Fad last year at Apple Stomp and they were a lot of fun. The same can be said for this show as well! Jimmy Doyle is always jumping around, in those tiny shorts haha.
I got some great shots of him singing along with the crowd as well. I just sat in the same spot for the majority of the show, which seemed to work out well. Thankfully the sometimes rowdy crowd avoiding me and didn’t bump me at all. The lighting was decent for The Fad and the next band, Butcher Knives. I was still shooting around ISO 4000/5000 but still, I’ve shot in a lot worse.
