Back when Hurricane Sandy happened, I wanted to help out in some way with donating some autographed prints. I got a bunch of bands involved and raised over 500 dollars that were donated to 2 charities. 6 months has passed since Hurricane Sandy but there’s still plenty of work and fixing up to do! Besides Sandy relief, I wanted to help out Boston Marathon victims as well. I’m going to donate 75 percent (25 percent will go to auction fees and money ebay takes out of these auctions!) to NJ’s Hometown Heroes and Dropkick Murphys’ Claddagh Fund. The second round of charity print auctions will be from NOFX, Frank Turner, The Saw Doctors, Pilfers, Young Dubliners and Bigger Thomas.
This print didn’t sell the first time I did the auctions for some odd reason, so this is your 2nd chance to snag this cool shot of Bigger Thomas I took at Characters in NYC. You can see these guys open Apple Stomp on June 1st to see how great they are live.
It took awhile but finally got back my prints from Frank Turner after sending them over back in November! Then Frank thought the prints were lost but thankfully they weren’t. Even after all the success Frank Turner has had, he still managed to write me back every time I wrote and bugged him. Both photos are from his Webster Hall show in the fall of 2012. Please bid on both if you’re a fan!
Sadly I didn’t have a good shot of all of NOFX but got 3/4 of NOFX to sign individuals shots (sorry Erik). These photos were taken at Irving Plaza a few years ago. It might be hard to see Eric Melvin’s signature but its there. Let’s see which member of the band can raise the most money!
These Pilfers photos were taken at their Skalapalooza show at Gramercy Theatre. Out of all the years taking pictures of the Pilfers, these were my favorite. One is a group shot of the original members (Nick, Vinny, Coolie, Anna, James) and then there’s just one of Coolie Ranx. Elevation!
The Saw Doctors are always fun to see live and the band were nice enough to sign a few prints (of course, one for myself to keep) but I’m auctioning off two different prints of the band. One is at Best Buy Theatre a few years ago (then Nokia Theatre) and Irving Plaza last year.
This Young Dubliners photo was taken a couple of years ago at Gramercy Theatre. I just love the lighting in this shot. They are playing Brooklyn in July so check them out if you haven’t seen them yet!
Old Man Markley prints have arrived and currently up on ebay for a week auction! Start Your bidding! These shots are from the NOFX / Old Man Markley show at Irving Plaza. I couldn’t get everyone in the same shot sadly but I liked these photos the best.
