The Dunwells @ B.B. Kings Blues & Grill, NYC – 1.11.13
January 16, 2013 | Concert Photography
The Dunwells from Leeds, UK played a set before Alan Doyle and after Amy Helm Friday night. Their Americana (Britacana)/folk rock was nice to hear and I particularly loved their single “I Could Be A King.”
You can read my review of the show over at ReadJunk.com.
This set was more of the same from the other two. Shot with Nikon D800, used the 70-200mm f2.8 lens with an ISO of 1600. I moved around from the left and right of the club, and took a handful of shots from my seat as well. The lighting was decent but it was hard to get in close because of the tables being there. But that’s ok, I think I got some decent photos of the band.
