Last year my neighborhood in Jersey City had a fun Halloween pet parade, and it happened again yesterday. It was supposed to be today but with the impending End Of The World (“Frankenstorm”) the media keeps declaring, they had the parade/contest yesterday.
There was a lot of dogs around, but it felt like there wasn’t as many as last year. A lot of pets weren’t dressed up, but that wasn’t going to stop me from taking pictures of them. My favorite was a pug dressed up as Marilyn Monroe, or the Frenchies dressed up as Baywatch lifeguards. It’s fun seeing all these dogs all year round, and then coming to this to see them dressed up. Other dogs dressed up as Batman, a Hippie, a taxi, a horse and jockey, a pea in a pod, bumblebee, Cleopatra, a golfer and more!
Not sure which dog won the contest since I left early but I love shooting these type of things. Prepare for the cute overload below:
Someone is upset she doesn’t have a puppy haha
